THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA

We, The People of India, are having solemnly (serious and dignify) resolved to constitute India into a Sovereign (Supreme) Socialist Secular (Not concerned with Religion) Democratic Republic (Government by the whole population) and to secure to all its citizens:
a)    Justice, social, economic and political;
b)    Liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
c)    Equality of status and of opportunity and to promote among them all
d)    Fraternity (Religious Brotherhood) assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;
In our Constitute Assembly, 26th November, 1949, do Here By Adopt, enact and give to ourselves this Constitution (Body of fundamental principles by which a state or other body is governed).
