The truth of suffering

I got this information from internet and books. Please read it carefully. Buddha has given unique and universal rules for soul and life. The Buddhist religion teaches that people always suffer and it provides a way to help those who are suffering.
Siddhartha Gautama was a great spiritual soul from ancient India who founded Buddhism. In most Buddhist traditions, he is considered the Supreme Buddha. “Buddha” is interpreted to mean “the enlightened one.”

·         The four Nobel truth
(a) The truth of suffering (life is filled with suffering from birth to death)
(b) The truth of the origin of suffering (Suffering is caused by people)
(c) The truth of the stop or controlling of suffering,
(d) The truth of the way leading to the stop of suffering.

·         The Truth of the Way
(a) Right Action (act from your heart and do not talk vain and avoid violence)
(b) Right Speech
(c) Right View
(d) Right Intention(having friendly thoughts about people and all parts of life)
(e) Right Speech
(f) Right View
(g) Right Effort (work to improve yourself)
(h) Right Concentration (Focus and concentrate on meditation to be happy)
(i) Right Livelihood
(j) Right Mindfulness (be merciful and think before you act,)

Birth, Life and Death of the Ego

·        An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.

·        Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace.

·        Do not overrate what you have received, nor envy others. He who envies others does not obtain peace of mind.

·        Even death is not to be feared by one who has lived wisely.

·        He who loves 50 people has 50 woes; he who loves no one has no woes.

·        Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.

·        The mind is everything. What you think you become All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.

·        However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do you if you do not act on upon them? So, don’t talk just do.

·        In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.

·        It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

·        A jug fills drop by drop. One can become success when he/se will take care about small thing.

·         All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.

·        Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

·        In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves. Always listen to others and think about their perspective and get peace.

·        Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful to lord.

·        The only real failure in life is not to be true to the best one knows. If you fail, it won’t be because you didn’t know; it will be because you didn’t do what you known to do.

·         It is better to travel well than to arrive. It is telling us life is journey so travel well. Wherever you are, enjoy there.
