Peaceable
Kingdom: The journey Home
(must see this documentary as a responsible human being for the world
community)
It says there is no gentle way to kill
anybody and Love unconditionally to world community, which includes all living
life. I decided to put it on blog after seeing the movie. It was life time
learning experience.
A riveting story of transformation and
healing, Peaceable Kingdom: The journey Home portrays the experience of five
farmers, an animal rescuer and a humane Police officer, each engaged in a
courageous struggle of conscience. As they attempt to reconnect with parts of
themselves that were damaged or lost through experiences that went against
their deepest natures, they reveal the complex web of social, psychological and
economic forces that led to their present conflict. Their powerful testimony,
combined with rare footage providing insight into the emotional lives of
animal. Creates an unforgettable portrait of farm life that many viewers have
called a “a life changing experience”.
A 78 minute documentary, Peaceable
Kingdom: The Journey Home premiered at the Moon dance International Film
festival in Boulder, Colorado, where it won the “Spirit of Moon dance” best
documentary award. It went on to receive the best documentary award at Chicago’s
Peace on earth Film Festival, the grand jury prize at the Canada International
film festival, The audience award at the Environmental film festival at Yale
and Best of fest audience Award at the Berkshire International Film festival.
